James Ashley Cieutat, age 40, of Mobile, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Heather Hyre Cieutat; a son, Michael Cian Cieutat; a step-daughter, Brittnie Spears; his mother, Peggy Duplan; his grandmother, Peggie Duplan; his step-mother, Ann Cieutat; and two brothers, George “Chip” Cieutat III (Amy) and Kris Cieutat. Ashley was preceded in death by his father, George James “Jim” Cieutat, Jr. He was a graduate of Murphy High School Class of 1996 and a member of the Society of Creative Anachronism, in which he was known as Lord Jochi Naran. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Rue Dauphine Room at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile.
