James Edward Diamond, Born , October 19, 1960 in Queens, NY to Edward Diamond and Mary Elizabeth Arendall. He was raised in Bayou La Batre, AL with his three siblings: Vickey Diamond (Woods), Brenda Diamond (Williams), and John Milne. He lived a great life and settled down with his wife Lavada Franklin of 27 years, in Lucedale, MS where they raised four children: Thomas Franklin, Edward Diamond, Jarod Diamond, and Maryann Diamond, and had many who may not have been theirs, but they treated them just the same and claimed as their own. His life work was at Port City Trailers where he worked for 35 years as the Shop foreman / Salesman. He loved many things, but above all else, he loved his wife and children with all his heart and made sure they always knew it. His life, love, and memories live on with those he knew and loved, which means he isn't truly gone, only that he continues on in our hearts. He passed away in Mobile, AL on May 30, 2025 at age 64, surrounded by his family.
