Mr. James Charles “Big Daddy” Dixon , a native and resident of Mobile, AL, departed this life on Monday, June 29, 2015 surrounded by his family. Mr. Dixon retired as a Supervisor with MAWSS after 37 years of service. He leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Margaret Dixon, seven children, Wilma Davis, Charles Dixon (Bettye), Ann Allen (Lebarron), Zelda Hatcher, Richard Dixon, Marcella Sykes (Earl) and James Dixon (Cheryl). He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Revelation Baptist Church on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
