
James Larry “Mad Dog” Pearman, Sr. – stepped into Heaven on Saturday, August 14, 2010, after an extended illness. Mr. Pearman, a resident of Semmes, Alabama, was born on March 6, 1956, he was a 1974 graduate of Shaw High School, Mobile, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Jackson Pearman. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Wendy Wilkinson Pearman; two children, Alicia Pearman Chambers (Kevin O’Connor) and James Larry (Jake) Pearman, Jr.; three grandchildren, Molly Shae and Margaret Emma Chambers and Julia Rose Bryant; mother, Rosie Herrin Pearman; three brothers, Don Pearman (Melissa) and Ron Pearman (Lydia) both of Mobile, AL, and Paul Pearman (Deirdre) of Meridian, MS; two sisters, Rose Marie Story (Jerry) of Fairhope, AL and Rene Roberts (Steve) of Mobile, AL; in-laws, Demar and JoAnn Wilkinson, Wilmer, AL, Danny and Karen Balint of Tupelo, MS, and David and Robin Bell of Lucedale, MS; plus numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Larry was employed by Honeywell (UOP) in Chickasaw, AL for thirty years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, NASCAR and University of Alabama fan. He enjoyed spending mornings with his coffee buddies at the Hickory Pit Too in Semmes, AL. Larry was a deacon and faithful member of Orchard Baptist Church in Mobile, where he enjoyed worshiping and reading his Bible. He remained faithful and steadfast through his lengthy illness. Larry’s life will continue to be a testimony of God’s glory, grace and power. A special thank you from the family to the doctors and nurses at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, Mobile Infirmary Hospices, Diagnostic and Medical Center, University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute, LSA Healthcare Network, and Ochsner Regional Medical Center in Kenner, LA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Orchard Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Monday, August 16, 2010, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
