James Rogers was born in Pensacola, Florida to William and Reather Rogers. He went to school at Escambia High School. He has been married to Mary Macks Rogers for 57 years. James retired from CBS Westinghouse as a machinist/welder after 20 plus years and he was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the Army.
James is preceded in death by his parents William and Reather Rogers and his brother Jesse Rogers. James is survived by his wife Mary Rogers, son James Rogers Jr, his daughter Natalie Hinton(Barry) and grandchildren Justin, Rycca, Christianna and Jacob, his sisters, Sharon Bassham and Diane Madden.
A private visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile, Alabama on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 1pm. A graveside service will occur on August, 18, 2025 at 11am at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
