Dr. James E. Stamm

Devoted husband and father, retired OB-GYN James E. Stamm M.D.. Died Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the age of 76, at his home in Loxley, AL where he resided with his wife Jenny L. Stamm. Dr. Stamm graduated from Indiana University of Medicine class of 1964. He did his internship transitional year at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center-South Bend Indiana 1964-1965. He did his residency, Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Care Center, 1966-1969. Dr Stamm was a member of the Southern Medical Association and the Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. Dr. Stamm was preceded in death by his son James Todd Stamm. He is survived by his loving wife Jenny L. Stamm, His daughters Christy L. Vaughn and Stacey M. Smith, his son's Jay Dee Stamm, John Prescott Stamm (Terri), Jeffery Rider Stamm (Susie), Martin Jerome Clark (Rachel) and 11 grandchildren and his beloved pets Ginger and Meg, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Friday, August 22, 2014, from 2:30 to 4:00 P.M., with funeral services in the chapel at Pine Crest. Arrangements under the direction of Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile Alabama.
