James H. Whatley, a native of Uriah, raised in Crichton and a longtime resident of Tillman's Corner, died on Sunday, July 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Rene; 2 sisters, Olene Myers and Farristine Reeves; children and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with visitation on Tuesday from 5 until 7 PM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
