James D Whisenhant Sr.

James D. Whisenhant Sr., age 84, of Semmes, Alabama passed away on Sunday June 21, 2020. James was born January 29, 1936. James worked for Bell South for 38 years before his retirement. After that he enjoyed spending time his wife, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife Verdella Whisenhant, five children; Cindy (Larry) Roudabush, Valerie (Phillip) Anglin, James (Laurie) Whisenhant, Jr., Denise (Terry) Prine and Daphne (Lee) Bodiford. eleven grandchildren; Larry, John Thomas, Ashley, Bradley, Nickalas, Meagan, Jimbo, Allen, Bobbie Jean, Dacia and Haley. And 10 Great grandchildren; Grace, Jack, Dominic, Greyden, Paetyn, Magnolia, Lukus, Ethen, Brayden, and Brantley.

A visitation will occur Friday, June 26, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 DAUPHIN ISLAND PKWY, MOBILE, AL 36605. A burial will occur Friday, June 26, 2020 at 3:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Friday, June 26, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Pine Crest Cemetery West, 1599 SNOW RD S, MOBILE, AL 36695
