Jane Cheek Williamson

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles Ivey Williamson.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Ivey Williamson and his wife, Vicki Cleveland Williamson; Mr. Garrett Williamson and his wife, Stephanie Eads Williamson; and Dr. Shannon Siegel Neblett and her husband, Michael William Neblett. She is also survived by her younger brother, Forrest Mumford Cheek, Jr., and his wife, Betty Wilkins Cheek; and by her four grandchildren, Katherine Ansley Siegel, Reeder Noble Williamson, Ivey Elizabeth Siegel, and Keller Jennings Williamson. Katherine and Ivey are the daughters of Dr. Shannon Siegel Neblett and the late Dr. John Mather Siegel, Jr.

Jane was an avid advocate for the local arts community and was a longtime member of the Mobile Opera Board of Directors. Her love of the arts and her support of the arts community were important parts of her life.

The family will hold a private service.
