Janet was one of the finest individuals I have known. She always did her best with kindness and integrity. Not many individuals would have the courage to start a new career after the age of 60 when the Company we were working for was sold, but Janet did just that and did it well. There wasn't a time when Janet did not look her best and she never failed to ask about my children and grandchild by name when we would see each other long after we stopped working together. I will miss Janet and am glad she was in my life.

Will always remember your beautiful mother. I'm so glad we had such a nice visit during Mardi Gras at the store. Still have pictures from the wedding shower she held for me back in 1982. Will treasure them always. May she rest in peace, Love always, Joyce

Janet was a close colleague of mine at the Hamilton County Department of Education for several years. She was an extraordinary administrative assistant who worked with me on many key projects for the children of Hamilton County including the Middle College High School, the design of curriculum for Washington Alternative School, and the initial development of The Virtual School leading to alternative patterns for summer school. She was an integral part of each of these projects and many community efforts. Without her capable, competent, and creative leadership in all projects, they would not have been as successful. She became a treasured friend. I am deeply saddened by her sudden passing but comforted by an assurance that she is in heaven free from a failing body and claiming her rewards for a life well lived.
