Wow I'm so late in learning about this. It's a shame for sure Jason was a good man and a good friend. I wish I had been able to talk to him ones more time.

To the Haas Family,
I worked with Jason’s mother Miss. Martha aka Miss. M ( what I called her). I didn’t know Jason very well, only from the funny stories Miss. M told me which had me laughing my head off about him and his brother as children. I could tell Jason was a sweet family man. Just the way he would call his mom at work to check on her daily. I’m so sorry to hear about Jason. I knew he got down really sick, but didn’t know he passed. My heart and prayers and thoughts are with everyone who knew Jason and loved him, especially his loving mother and brother, niece.

i’ll always cherish our memories together uncle jason! From talking about karate when I was younger, to playing at the park or with all of my toys at mimi’s house, those are times I won’t ever forget. Your love and care for your family and friends shows how big of a heart you truly had. Your admiration for your mom and my dad showed your character and willingness for growth. Although you may have not had it easy, you always made the best of every situation you faced no matter what the challenges were. The last true time I got to spend with you was my 16th birthday, and I truly am so grateful that you were there on such a big birthday for me. I’ll forever miss you and every memory shared.

My sweet Jay Jay. You are my nephew but you were more like a little brother to me. I was just 12 years old when you were born and we spent a lot of time together when you were a child growing up. I remember very well the Christmas day when you were born. They brought you out from the nursery to Martha in a Christmas stocking. You were a precious gift. We had some fun adventures as adults too. I will never forget the time you took me to a U2 concert in Birmingham. 
As I told you numerous times in the weeks and days prior to your transition to heaven, I have loved you since the day you were born and I will love you forever!  The Faf

Thank you Jason for being my protector growing up. 
I will always remember you showing up to my school events. Ready to cheer anyone up,  a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Ready to ride out and pick me up when I was down. You and Aunt Marty were always there for me, and I'll never be able to repay what you two were able to provide me. Your love for others and your humor unmatched, always providing good stories and good times. I will never forget your love of animals, big and small. Daley was the first dog I ever got to know, and was a sweet protector just like you. I know you will comfort each other and know together you are loved, truly and deeply missed. All the stray cats you have ever fed over the years are there too, and I will always think of you when I take care of mine. Your love and empathy will not be forgotten. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for everything I cannot express.

Jason was my nephew. Mr Optimistic I always felt better after visiting with Jason   Our Mother and Father are both in heaven and I know my sisters and I along with our families and friends are crying on earth.Look up   to heaven. Big Mama and Big Daddy are hugging their precious Jason. You left us too soon. Your family and friends are crying, our tears will dry as your precious memories will bring our smile back big as yours. I remember Christmas Day, when Jason was born and what joy it was for our family! The year was 1968. Jason was my sister’s son.
I have a son , Lance, that is six months younger than Jason.  As first cousins, Jason & Lance had a fun childhood, catching tadpoles, playing kickball in front of big mama‘s house and fighting with alligators in Florida.
Jason had a very kind heart and had a great love for his family. He will be very much Miss by all of us.
