Jayne Louise (Chevalier) Davidson 90, passed away Sunday 9/27/2026 at Crowne Health Care. Born in Mobile, she was the wife of the late Donald Davidson. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Gorey Clemons and loving stepfather Edward Clemons and Father, the late Anthony Chevalier. Jayne was predeceased by her brother, Robert.
She leaves her two daughters Dr. Norma Medway (Gary Girardi) of Worcester Massachusetts and Susan Burnett of Mobile, Alabama. Jayne had three grandchildren Paige, Kaitlyn and Rashid (Vanessa) and five great grandchildren.
She enjoyed dancing, parties, shopping and decorating and was known for her famous neighborhood block parties and the memorable birthday parties for her girls. There was never a holiday Jayne didn’t love and took pride in making every holiday an event.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the kindness and caring the staff at Crowne showed our mother.
There will be no services at the request of Jayne. In lieu of flowers, do something fun, go shopping or put up the extra decoration.
