Jeffery Alan Jones

Jeffery Alan Jones, age 36, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2011, with his mother, Irene Jones, and girlfriend, Leigh Ann Davis by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Jones, brother, Danny Jones, grandparents, William and Leona Douglas, and Lonnie and Ollie Jones. Jeff was the youngest of five children. He is survived by his mother, Irene Douglas Jones of Mobile, AL and brothers, Mike McArdle of Mobile, Rob Jones (Heather) of New Orleans, LA, and sister, Annette Brooks of Fairhope, AL. He is survived by his long time girlfriend, Leigh Ann Davis and her mother, Brenda Jones. He is also survived by his niece, Dusty McArdle and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a loving and joyous son, brother and friend. He enjoyed time with his friends and family, fishing, Mardi Gras, music and most especially, the Alabama Crimson Tide. The family would like to thank everyone for their support, thoughts and prayers throughout the years. We would especially like to give thanks to the Doctors, nurses and staff of Springhill Medical Center and Springhill Senior Residence Facility in Mobile, AL. They have all truly been an extension of our family, and we will always be grateful for their support and compassion. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 7, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. with Chaplain Sara Phillips officiating.
