
Jennie Clinton Wentworth – a 94 year-old native and lifelong resident of Mobile passed away Friday, August 03, 2012. She retired from the Mobile County Public School System after 40 years of service as an elementary school teacher. She was an active member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church and volunteered with the Mobile Infirmary Auxiliary for over 30 years. Mrs. Wentworth was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William Reed Wentworth. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Wentworth Thompson and Ray Morgan Thompson; grandchildren, Morgan Wentworth Thompson (Reeves) and Katherine Moir Thompson Montalvo (Jose); great-grandchildren, Andrew Morgan Thompson, Ellen Wentworth Thompson, and William Elias Thompson Montalvo; brother, William Robert Clinton, III; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Interment will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery on Monday, August 06, 2012, at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service in the chapel of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the U.S.A.
