Jessie Prentiss Hicks

Jessie P. Hicks formerly of Leaksville, Mississippi went to be with our Lord the 22nd day of November 2021. Her mission here after 101 years was over and Jesus took her home. Jessie left a huge footprint on this Earth, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters and many loved ones too numerous to count. Family was always her focus and God was always her guide.

Her long life began July 3rd, 1920, and saw many wonderful things, from the Great Depression to aviation space flights. Just imagine the amazing things that developed during her lifetime. Her strength and tenacity were totally amazing! Jessie lived her life her way, but she was always the glue that kept the family together. All the people who had an opportunity to know her will forever remember the strength of this little lady and keep respect for her in their hearts.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until service time of 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
