Mrs. Jewel Roh

Jewel Neese Roh, age 90 and a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away at her home on Saturday August 23, 2025. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Paul Roh, Sr., parents Louis (Buddy) Neese, Bessie Neese, sisters Anna Marie Hutchison, Elizabeth Hutchison, brothers Dempsey Neese and Earley Neese.

Jewel married Edward Paul Roh, Sr. on January 14, 1955 and were happily married for 70 years. They raised four children sharing their Catholic Faith . They were members of Corpus Christi and Our Savior Catholic Church. Jewel worked at Colonial Bread Company until retiring. She loved her family and will be remembered for her Sunday Dinners (Ed's favorite) Roast, rice and gravy and her Friday night seafood, that was enjoyed by all.

She is survived by her loving children Deborah (Jud) Blakely, Eddie (Melody) Roh, Theresa Roh and Andrew (Karen) Roh. She is also survived by her sisters, Lillian Bohannon, Myrtle Rowell, brothers Louis Neese, Tommy Neese, Eugene Neese, grandchildren, Sarah Blakely, Paul Blakely, Katarina Harrelson, Brittany Roh, Katey Hornsby, Devyn Roh, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon with interment immediately following at Pine Crest Cemetery.
