Jim Bob Rainer

Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Aubrey Flowers Rainer; daughters, Deborah Bolton (Ted) and Cheri Galloway (Jim); grandsons, Gabriel Rainer Bolton (Jana), James Seth Galloway, and Ethan Rainer Galloway; granddaughter, Rainer Bolton Gatewood (Dan) and great-grandchildren, Claire Frazier Bolton and Winchester Rainer Bolton. Bob is also survived by his sister, Mary Lois Weston (Joe) and by nieces and nephews.

Bob was a US Navy veteran of WW II and was recently honored in Washington D.C. as a member of South Alabama Honor Flight VI. He was a faithful member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church where he served with friends he considered family. Bob was a kind and generous man who was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank all of Bob and Aubrey's friends for their love, support, and generosity. They would especially like to thank Linda Martin, her team of loving caregivers, and Mercy Medical for all their kindness.

Visitation will be at Dauphin Way Baptist Church on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:00 am. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Pine Crest Cemetery.
