Jimmie proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War with the 27th Combat Engineer Battalion. He spent most of his life working as a structural ironworker. He loved his family dearly and especially enjoyed bass fishing and spending time on the water.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laura Allen, and his parents, Catherine McGough Allen and Bill Allen.
He is survived by his goddaughter, Camillia Entsminger (Bobby), and her son, Joseph; his sister-in-law, Eula Gail Harrison (Greg), and her children, Foxx and Brendalyn; his brothers, Glen Allen and Ben Allen (Carol); along with many other family members and friends.
Jimmie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His family finds comfort in knowing that he is once again reunited with his beloved Laura.
