A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 2 - 4 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama.
Jo Ann was born March 24, 1937 in Pike County, Mississippi.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark Bozeman and Khula Azmi; her daughter Sandra Bates; and granddaughters, Amanda Chadwell and Madison Bates. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Bozeman and her son Michael Bozeman.
She worked until retirement as a bookkeeper for J.H. Wright & Associates. She was a devout Christian and member of the Airport Boulevard Baptist Church.
She was kind, selfless, and always put the needs of her family before her. She loved outdoors, gardening, reading, and feeding all the wild birds that flocked to her home. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
