Joan Underwood Baird – born July 27, 1929 in Grosse Point, Michigan, passed away on Friday March 29, 2013 at the age of 83. She is survived by two sons, David Neske and Reverend Mark I. Neske; two daughters, Jane Crews (James) and Rae Ann Cavanna (Victor); three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the chapel of the Sacred Heart Residence of the Little Sisters of the Poor. Mrs. Baird’s family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the sisters and staff of the Little Sisters of the Poor for all of their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
