Joann R. Cole

JoAnn was a graduate of Vigor High School and the University of South Alabama where she was a Dean’s List scholar. She worked for many years as a Service Coordinator with Ahepa Senior Housing. After retirement she became a member of the Women in Construction Organization, was active in many Catholic organizations and the Democratic Association of Mobile.

She is survived by her daughters, Francis Victoria Gomez Hughes and Carla Ellen Gomez Moulyet. Her devoted sister Kathryn Elaine “Lanie” Denomme (Owen Smith), brothers, Robert “Robbie” Robinson (Ann), Sherrill Ray Robinson (Maryann ), Levi R. Robinson, six (6) grandchildren and three(3) great grandchildren also survive her.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Andalusia Memorial Gardens, Andalusia, Alabama at approximately 2:30 p.m.
