John Walter Nichols, Jr. a native of Chester, Georgia and a longtime resident of Mobile, died on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Ponder.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam Nichols; two children, Don (Sue) Nichols and Terry (Dan) Watson; five grandchildren, Stephen Nichols, Mark Nichols, Jonathan Nichols, Lori Beth Graham and Katie Smith; great grandchildren , Finnegan Nichols, Florence Nichols, Preston Nichols, Chloe Nichols, Tate Graham and Cole Graham.
Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 10 AM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
