John William Schick Jr.

John was born on October 30, 1945, in Camden, New Jersey to the late John and Irene Schick. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Chemistry. Throughout his career, he worked in various positions as a textile chemist, earning respect for his knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic. On December 30, 1990, John married the love of his life, Cheri Schick, and they shared over 35 years of marriage. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. John enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved spending time with family, golfing, and bowling. Ocean City, New Jersey, held a special place in his heart, where he enjoyed many meaningful days at the beach with his family.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Cheri Schick, and his sister, Sue Morse, and her sons, Jason, Jeff, and Dan. He is also survived by his children: Jeff Noble and wife, Lydia, Natasha Roberts and husband, John, Megan Setzer and husband, Carl, John William Schick, III, and William Ryan Schick and wife, Maggi. He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Norma Kate, Kayla, Ashley, Ayden, Ian, and Caleb.
