John David Seddon

May 13, 1964 - January 31, 2023

John Seddon of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on January 31 at the age of 58. Originally from New York, John made his home in South Alabama where he owned a personal training business based at Life Plus. He bettered many people’s lives with his encouragement, gentle cajoling, and no-nonsense approach to health. He enjoyed nothing more than having adventures with his wife, Heather. Together they biked, visited their favorite beaches, and enjoyed time together with their dogs on the back deck, which he built.

John had a big heart, with a particularly soft spot for dogs, and he committed himself to saving as many as he could. His rescue pups often appeared in his social media posts celebrating his clients’ progress and wins as part of his cheering squad. Always ready with a joke and a smile, and exhibiting an occasional willingness to let his clients pick the radio station during workouts, John would do anything for the people he loved.

He will be remembered with much love and dearly missed by his wife, Heather Worley, mother Mary, brothers Chris and Peter, and his three nieces, Jacqueline, Diane, and Lauren. His loss leaves a hole in the hearts of many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John.
