Jon Michael Robertson, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died on Thursday, October 3, 2013. Jon was retired from the Mobile Police Department and the Alabama National Guard, having served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida Mae Vardaman and Caleab R. Robertson. He is survived by two children Katlyn and John Caleab Robertson; two sisters, Beverly Liles and Carole Taylor; two brothers, Ray Robertson and Roger Vardaman and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 2 PM. Visitation will start at 11 AM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
