Doctor Joseph B. E Brown Jr., passed away from this life on June 30, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Joseph was born June 28, 1940, in Montgomery, Alabama to parents, Joseph B.E. Brown, Sr. and Jean Ledyard Brown.
In 1949, Joseph along with his family relocated to Magnolia Springs, Alabama. Joseph was a graduate of Foley High School, after graduating, he received his formal education from Tulane University and the University of Alabama Medical School at Birmingham. His education and experience allow him the opportunity to serve as a physician in the United States Navy. At one time, he served as the only doctor for several ships deployed at the coast of Vietnam. After his service in the Navy, Dr. Brown practiced medicine in Orange County, California. After his retirement, Dr. Brown relocated to Mobile, Alabama until his death.
Dr. Brown is survived by his brother, Clifton L. Brown of Mobile, Alabama; nieces, Mrs. Jean Brown Miesch (Bill) of Argyle, Texas and nephew, Clifton L. Brown, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana.
He will be truly missed by friends and family.
