Joseph Anthony Jernigan – a 63 year-old resident of Orange Beach, AL passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010. A longtime electrician, he worked for Westinghouse for 25 years and currently worked at Siemens. He was a former member of the Jaycees, a past-president of the Greater Gulf State Fair, and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Jernigan is survived by his wife of 19 years, Annette Crane Jernigan; children, Joey Jernigan, Bobby Jernigan (Tammy), and Allen Jernigan (Pepir); stepsons, Thomas Cayton and Troy Cayton; and grandchildren, Jordan Townsend (Ty), Trey Jernigan, Landon Jernigan, Summer Jernigan, Zackary Jernigan, and Lacie Cayton. Memorial services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at 5 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the service hour.
