Judith Jones Phillips

Mrs. Judith Jones Phillips, age 64, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014, with her family at her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin Luther Jones and Willie Mae Sexton. She was a devoted wife and mother. Everyone who knew Judy was touched by her sweetness in life and encouragement to all. She will long be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend. Her in-laws viewed her as one of their own. She loved spending time with her family, bird watching and cooking. She devoted much of her time to her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband of 45 years Jerry Phillips, two daughters, Ginger (Joe) Dueitt, Becky (Byron) Skidmore and son, Jeremy Phillips. She also leaves to cherish her memory, three grandchildren; Jonathan Duane Boothe, Jody Kleet Dueitt and Avery Alexandria Skidmore, Brandon Skidmore and other family members. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
