Judy Raye Reusser, aged 82, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026. Born on June 10, 1944,Judy lived a life defined by laughter, profound generosity, and an unwavering devotion to both her family and her community.
Judy was a woman of remarkable dedication and vibrant passions. An avid bowler, she shared her love for the sport and camaraderie by participating in leagues for 25 consecutive years. Those who knew her will fondly remember her quick wit and exceptional ability to tell a good joke, always filling the room with smiles and laughter. Above all, Judy was known for her immense generosity and her heart for serving others.
She proudly celebrated 20 years of sobriety—a journey during which she selflessly sponsored, guided, and inspired countless individuals on their own paths to recovery. Guided by her deep love for God, Judy later found a true spiritual home and deeply cherished her newfound family at Harbor Point Methodist Church.
Her greatest earthly joy, however, was her family. Judy is survived by her loving children: her son Frank Reusser and his wife Kimberly; her son Kevin Reusser and his wife Vita; and her daughter Konni Terrell and her husband Keith. She is also survived by her dear brother Fuller Bazer, her sister Ouida Harmon, and her sister Sylvia Crawley. She was a cherished grandmother to Marissa, Collin, and Walker (children of Frank and Kimberly); Sophia, Avery, and Aislin (children of Kevin and Vita); and Michael, Skyler and her wife Martina—who held a deeply special place in Judy's heart—and Kara (children of Konni and Keith). Judy’s beautiful legacy also lives on through her great-grandchildren: Blair, Janie, and Greyson; and Nola, Issac, and William.
Celebration of Life: Friends, neighbors, and church family are warmly invited to join the family on Saturday, November 28th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Harbor Point Methodist Church, located at 11329 Padgett Switch Rd, Irvington, AL 36544.
