Julie Martha Hanson, a longtime resident of Mobile, died on Monday, September 30, 2013. She was a member of the Catholic faith and proudly worked for J.C. Penny for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Chris Boyd and a great granddaughter, Mary Adele O'Brien. Mrs. Hanson is survived by her husband of 75 years, Robert B. Hanson, five children, Mary Katherine (Tom) Boyd, Linda (Ralph) Patrick, Vickie (Vaun) Kennedy, Robert (Suzette) Hanson, Jr. and Robin (David) Jones, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m at Radney Funeral Home Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 Noon. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com
