Julius J. Green

Julius J. Green, age 82, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014. Mr. Green loved his country and was a proud Korean War Veteran of the United States Army and retired from the Civil Service. He also loved going hunting. Mr. Green is preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Vera Green; two brothers, Levon and Robert; two sisters, Agnus and Jan. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Ruth Fletcher Green; six wonderful children, Bill (Sandie) Green, Woodie (Cindy) Green, Gordon (Maureen) Green, Karen (Robert) Simmons, Rodger (Brenda) Green and Wayne (C J) Green; Three sisters, Francis, Gertrude and Ruth; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Stacy, Mandy, Jackson, Adrian, Brandon, Jessica, Jonathon and Michelle; twenty seven great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 1:00 pm with a visitation from 11:00 am until service time all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
