Katherine Stoneman Jordan Marriott died peacefully on February 7, 2024. She was born on December 16, 1924 in Richmond, Virginia. Growing up on her family plantation, Varina on the James River, a working farm for the Stoneman family for over 150 years to the present day. Preceded in death by her husband Henderson Ridgely Marriott,Jr. Parents, Branch Montaque Jordan and Katherine Stoneman Jordan. Siblings, Branch Montaque Jordan and Jean Jordan Choate(James W Choate,MD). Brother and sister in laws, Caroline Dukes Marriott, William Barr Marriott(Zoe), and Thomas Homewood Marriott(Francis). She is survived by her children, Virginia Jordan Marriott Irby(Sam W.) and Henderson Ridgely Marriott(Doris). Her grandchildren, James Grier Donald, Allison Dukes Donald Grahovec(Tyler), Jonathan Marriott, Lee Irby Hunt(Derek). Her great grandchildren, Enzo Garofalo, Asher Candler Grahovec and Sev Grahovec.
