
Our Heavenly Father called home to rest Kathleen Ann (Stadtmiller) Flood (affectionately known as “Granny”) of Mobile, Alabama on Friday, February 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene J. Flood, and her nephew, James Stadtmiller. She was born in Erie, PA. to the late Edward and Lillian Stadtmiller on December 30, 1937. She is survived by four children who loved her and will miss her deeply. They are, Mary Lynne (James) Lamb, Eugene T. Flood, Catherine (Jarrod) Boudreaux, and Paul (Kristel) Flood. Her eight grandchildren are, Brandon, Kelly Flood; Caitlyn Anna Boudreaux, Zachary, Ryan Flood and Matthew, Maria and Michael Lamb. Also survived by her brother, Rubert (Marilynn) Stadtmiller and nephews, Michael and William Stadtmiller. Kathleen was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy in Erie, PA. and University of South Alabama in Mobile. She will always be remembered for her strong faith in God, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, genuine love for her family, dedication to the many students she taught, and fondness for her pets, especially Petey. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of the 5th and 9th floors of USA Medical Center and the Wound Care Center; especially Nurse Maureen. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in her memory to Corpus Christi Church at 6300 McKenna Drive, Mobile, AL 36608 or the charity of your choice.
