For my sweet husband Ken....

Words cannot express what our life was together. He was a man of great faith- always had a positive attitude. Ken treated me like the only woman on earth and always looked out for me in good times and bad. His family and God were his top priority and I will always love and miss him. He was the best thing that had ever happened to me.

I'll love you always,

Ken there is not a day that goes by that we do not think of you. We know you are in a better place but we all miss you. We are so thankful that you are no longer suffering. Your calling and praying with us on the phone when Bently was air lifted to Sioux Falls meant so much to us. You always put everyone ahead of your own needs and wants. You were and always will hold such a special place in our hearts. We will watch over and pray for Jane everyday. She has such a hole in her heart that only lots of prayer and time can heal. I know you will always be watching over her. Love and Miss you Uncle Ken! Kendall and Bonne

Dad, It's been 6 long weeks since you've been gone and not one day has passed that you aren't the first thing I think about when I wake up. I can only hope that I will be remembered as fondly as you are when my time is up. I can only hope that I will have touched as many lives or meant so much to so many. You are truly the most selfless, loving, and kind person I have ever known and I can only wish that I could be more like you. I will strive every day to make you proud and I know that you are watching me from where ever you are and I know we will see you again one day. Thank you for all you gave of yourself to everyone around you. Thank you for being such an inspiring human being and for all you gave to our family. You gave everything you had - your time, your love, your wisdom. I can never repay you and mom for the life I've been given, thanks to you. I love you!

There is so much I can say about big Ken. I looked up to him a great deal. He was so selfless. Even when he was sick from his treatments he made a effort to call us and pray with us when Bently was flown to the NICU. He was just an amazing christian man that I'm honored to have known. It's comforting to know he is pain free rejoicing in heaven. God bless

Dear PAPA,
You were the best papa in the world, and nobody could ever replace you. Thank you for taking me fishing all the time, and catching all those specs! I had a really fun time. I had a really fun tie throwing the baseball with you in the back yard. You have helped to anything i wanted to know how to do and you were a great role model. I love you so much and I am going to see you again one day!

Dear Dad,
I am so thankful to have had you as a father. You were the best dad that I could have asked for. You were always there for me from the time that I was small, and even as an adult. You were the most patient, humble, caring person who I have ever known and I strive to be more like you. I miss you so much and think of you every day. You are in my heart and will be with me always. I love you so much Dad.
