Obituary of Laura Elizabeth (Ost) Lewis
IN THE CARE OF

Radney Funeral Home - Mobile

Laura Elizabeth (Ost) Lewis passed away quietly and unexpectedly on September 11, 2024, surrounded by immediate family. She was the beloved daughter and stepdaughter of Ed Ost and Karen Ost.

Preceded in death by her mother, Amy Caroline Harrington, she is survived by her father, Edwin Ost and her stepmother Karen Ost, her brother Edwin Jr., niece Renee Ost Lawson and her son Adrian, cousins John Ost, Jeff Ost, Sheryl Ost Miranda and Emily Ost Fleischer, numerous other cousins and former husband John Lewis, her aunt Susan Carey, uncle Rick Carey and cousins Brian and Michael.

Laura was born in Palm Beach County and grew up in Biloxi MS. She graduated from Biloxi High School. Laura also lived in Minot, North Dakota, Aviano, Italy and Washington, D.C. with her husband John Lewis during his deployment with the U.S. Air Force before returning to Biloxi.

Laura developed many lasting friendships and loved spending time with her friends. She had a special relationship with her father. For years, each week they would plan a special meal for Sundays, comparing notes, texting each other pictures of the meals and deciding if it should stay in their special recipe book.

She will be sorely missed and holds a very special place in all our hearts.
