Lavaughn Mixon Steiner

Lavaughn Mixon Steiner, born September 20, 1920 in Benndale, MS died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at a local nursing facility. She moved to Mobile, AL after High School and married Sylvester Frederick Steiner in 1946. She worked for the U.S. Selective Service (Draft Board) and later the Mobile County Office of Voter Registration. She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Steiner (Rick) Faust; one son, Bruce Frederick Steiner; four grandchildren, Heather (Darren) Eckhoff, Cecilye Findley, Lindsay Steiner, and Gretchen Steiner; six great-granddaughter and one great-grandson. Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery.
