Lawrence Jackson “Big L” Reeves, III, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Friday, September 25, 2015 at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a Ranger in the 101st Airborne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Jackson Reeves, Jr. and Dorothy Christine Hoots Reeves; and his brother, Bobby Crocker. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Platt; two children, Rebecca (Chris) Platt and Amanda Reeves (Chris) Swinney; one sister, Peggy Reeves Toomey; twelve grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service and interment will follow at 11 A.M.
