Leota May "Peggy" McDonald

Leota May "Peggy" McDonald - age 87, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. She was born on October 7, 1932 to James A. and Edna Kountz McDonald in Williamson, W. VA. Peggy was a graduate of Murphy High School, 1950. Upon graduation she entered the banking business and retired from a lifetime career at Merchants National Bank, Mobile, AL as Manager of the Proof Department. Peggy was an avid animal lover. She strongly supported many local animal societies and was a proud owner of many, many pets throughout her life. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Edna Kountz McDonald; brothers, Benny McDonald, Joe McDonald, James I. McDonald, and Francis McDonald. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Catherine "Kitty" McDonald; and many nieces and nephews. She loved her family and instilled strong loving values that have served them well. Visitation for Peggy will be held Monday, October 21, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. A graveside service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, 1202 Virginia Street, Mobile, AL 36605.
