Mrs. Lillian S. Hughes, age 86. A native of Fernbank, Alabama and a resident of Eight Mile, Alabama died on Friday, September 21, 2012. She was a member of Myers Memorial Baptist Church for 56 years and was a retired bookkeeper for Vigor High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron E. Hughes. She is survived by her children, Lillian C. “Winkie” (Jim) Crocker and Tony (Mia) Hughes; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
