

On July 3, 2011, Lillian Price Kettler died after a long battle with failing health. She was born in Louisville, Alabama on February 16, 1920, and lived 91 years as a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister - she was a friend to all she met. Preceding her in death were her devoted husband of 56 years, Jules A. Kettler, Sr., and daughter, Marie Kettler Conway. She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Kettler and Ashford Kettler. Also, of her six sisters and brothers, she is survived by her beloved sisters, Sara Tillman and Jean Hartzog. She is survived by three grandchildren, Andrew Kettler (Kelly Watson), Chris Conway (Amanda), and Pat Hartzog – and three great-grandchildren, Kristin Conway, Jessica Hartzog, and Payten Watson Kettler. Dear to her during her decline was the comfort and support of Elise Tanner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. Private interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
