Linda Cain Baxley

Mrs. Linda Cain Baxley, age 69, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 1, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Alene Cain. Mrs. Baxley was a longtime member of Government Street Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 20 years. She retired from AT&T after thirty years of service. Mrs. Baxley enjoyed traveling and decorating, but her most special times were spent with her family. She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Baxley is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Baxley, Jr. and children; Jeffrey Baxley (Christina), Kim Way (Chance). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Ethan Rowell, Hayden Rowell, Calista Baxley, Jennafer Way, Brandon Way, sister, Marilyn Jordan (Gary), and niece, Holly Crooms (Larry). The family would like to express their gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to Kindred Hospice, especially Carrie Williams for their wonderful care and to DeDe’s Nursing Service, especially Dede Jackson and Akeyla Smith for their loving care of Linda. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Celeste Road, Saraland, AL.
