Departed this world and went to her heavenly rest on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Due to complications from cancer, age 63 years.
Born to James Leonard Ellis and Esther Carolyn Henley Ellis on Sunday, September 8, 1957.
Predeceased by father James; maternal grandmother Dorothy S. Henley; paternal grandparents James Milton and Margaret P. Ellis; In-laws R.C. and Octavia Long; nephew Matthew Lanier.
Survived by beloved husband of 45 years, James Donald Hughes; son James Hughes; daughter Melissa Finch (Alvin); mother Carolyn Ellis; sister Karen Lanier (Jim); grandchildren Kaya Rain Hughes, Benjamin McDonald, Sarah Finch and Catherine Finch; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.
Linda graduated from B.C. Rain High School and attended Riverside Baptist Church as a young child. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother (Meme) and caregiver, and will be greatly missed.
