Lisa Josephine Burnett Kloeckener - age 50, a Mobile native, born August 16, 1971, passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2022, surrounded by her adoring family. She was a beloved mother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend who brought joy and love to everyone around her. Lisa was a lifelong member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she attended grade school. She graduated from McGill-Toolen in 1990. She continued to show her devotion to the catholic school system by working at St. Mary’s Catholic School over 15 years. Lisa was preceded in death by her doting father, John F. Burnett Jr. She will be greatly missed by her faithful mother, Geraldine Portella Burnett; three boys, Andrew Kloeckener, Kyle Kloeckener, and Brady Kloeckener and soon to be daughter-in-law Elizabeth Evans; brothers, John "Trey" Burnett, III (Allison), Eric Burnett (Tiffany), Craig Burnett (Rachel), and Fr. Travis Burnett; 6 nieces, Sarah, Jaelyn, Sophia, Lillian, Riley, and Teagan; and 3 nephews, Easton, Carson, and Noah; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins that she considered siblings. Lisa gracefully battled cancer for 5 years earning time to witness many milestones with her boys and family. Although, it will never be enough. We wanted another 50 years. She enjoyed CYO games, McGill-Toolen sports, Auburn football, playing cards/bunco, bargain shopping, fellowship, “Mobile” Mardi Gras, family trips/outings, and making kids feel special. She had an amazing faith and never a complaint. Our lives will not be the same without seeing her bright blue eyes and radiant smile. However, we will always carry a piece of her with us and relish in knowing that she has joined her father, after 10 years, in heaven. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral home on Dauphin Street on Sunday, March 13, from 5-8 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mobile Archdiocese Priests Burse Club, 1200 Richmond Ct., Mobile, AL 36693.
