Lois Anthony Spence Manderson

Lois Anthony Spence Manderson, a native of Walthall County, MS, went home to be with her Lord on August 19, 2024, at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eulalie Anthony, and her husband of 51 years, Daniel Burns(Dink) Spence. After graduating from Murphy High School, Lois and Dink were married and raised a son in Mobile, AL. Along with being a mom, she worked at a variety of jobs. Her favorite was working at the Mobile County License Commissioner's Office, where she stayed until her retirement as Chief Clerk after 26 Years. In retirement, she enjoyed writing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In 2008, she married her friend, Walt Manderson, who passed away in 2012. Lois is survived by her son, Daniel Anthony Spence (Nancy) of Mobile, AL; her two grandchildren, Daniel Parker Spence (Tiffany) of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Carrie Spence Seab(Josh) of Mobile, AL; and her seven great-grandchildren, Daniel Spence, Daylin Spence, David Spence, DJ Spence, Dillon Spence, Della Spence, and Emmaline Seab.
