Miss Lolete M. Tanner, age 85, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was a native of Wilmer, Alabama and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama.
She was a graduate of the University of Alabama and retired after 31 years of teaching physical education with the Mobile County Public Schools last serving at Murphy High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice (Zeanah) and Richard Norman Tanner and sisters, Delores (Charles) Thornburg and Juaice (Irie) Carnley.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 1 PM. Interment will be in Tanner’s Chapel Cemetery.
