Lorise Alfred “Pinkey” Simms

A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died at home on Saturday.

He retired from Mobile Gas after 40 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy Simms; one daughter, Peggy Ruth (Edward) Lund, Key West, FL, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014, from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to thank Legacy Group Healthcare and Springhill Home Health and Hospice for their special care. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
