

Lou Ella McLeod, 96, of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2021. Lou Ella was born in Orange Grove, MS, to Arthur and Lucy Vandola Tillman on June 18, 1924. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing bunco and spending time with family. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Tillman’s Corner, where she enjoyed singing in the choir, the Amazing Greys. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband – JR McLeod, siblings – Woodrow, Calvin, Elbert, Theresa and Lillie and granddaughter Jody Merryman. Lou Ella is survived by children – Diane (Van) Neal, John (Tammy) McLeod and Deborah (Larry) Revette. Grandchildren – Chris (Angel) Baggett, Toby (Debby) Baggett, Christy (Albert) Keuler, Shannon Davis, Dena (David) White and Ricky (Lynn) Neal. Great grandchildren – Dallas, Bryce and Easton Baggett, Kenley O’Shea, Cody Keuler, Taylor and Dalton Davis, Nikki Jones, Caitlyn and Gracie White. Great great grandchild – Hopelyn Jones. Pallbearers – Ricky Neal, Albert Keuler, Victor Tipper, Bryce Baggett, Easton Baggett, and Dalton Davis. Honorary pallbearers – Chris Baggett, Toby Baggett, David White, Cody Keuler and Orrin Cole. Visitation will be at 10 am Wednesday, February 10th at Pine Crest Funeral Home, with Brother Mark Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery with graveside services at 11 am.
