Louis Turner Robbins, Jr. – a 70 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. He retired from Scott Paper Co. after 37 years of service, was the former Vice President of the Millwright’s Union at Scott Paper Co., and enjoyed go-cart racing with his brothers and nephews. Mr. Robbins is survived by his loving companion, Geraldine Copeland; children, Dawn Sweatt (David), Louis Turner Robbins, III (Sharia), and Lisa Collins; siblings, Carolyn Clay (Don), Gerald Robbins (Janice), Charles Robbins (Mary Anita), James Robbins (Karen), and Cindy Culbertson (Glenn); grandchildren, Taylor Sweatt, Natalie Sweatt, Blake Collins, and Sara Robbins; dear friends, Sam, Ray, and Mike; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour.
