Louise Evelyn Cochran

Mrs. Louise Evelyn Cochran, age 88, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cochran, son, Michael Cochran, infant daughter and parents. She is survived by her children, George Cochran, Ruth Cochran and Mary Ann Baldwin (Joe). She is also survived by her brother, Bob Griffith, sister-in-law, Helen New, grandchildren; Tonya, Ian, Elizabeth, Georgina, Kathy, great-grandchildren; Lauren, Michael, Gunner, Kali, Brayden, Travis, Trevor and Tyler. Mrs. Cochran was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Church where she was a dedicated nursery worker. She was known for her love of people and never meeting a stranger. One of her favorite past times was people watching in the mall and telling stories of the past. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Pine Crest Chapel of Pines Mausoleum.
