A native of Clarke County, Alabama and a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Thursday May 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jackson L. Furr and Minnie Grace Furr, four brothers; Fred W. Furr, Theodore M. Furr, Claude F. Furr and J. T. Buddy Furr her twin sister Myrtle Lisa Youngchild her sister Grace F. Butcher and her wonderful husband and friend Norris H. Goodwin. Survivors include her son George H. Goodwin his wife Wanda Sanchez Goodwin two grandchildren Christopher Goodwin and Kathryn (Katie) Goodwin a sister Mrs. Irma Wilson, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church where she volunteered as Coordinator of Caregivers for over fifteen years. She worked as a public accountant for over thirty years and performed as a competitive ballroom dancer. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5pm till 8pm at Pine Crest Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 6; 00pm. Funeral services will be Monday May 19, 2014 from the graveside at 10: am. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
